One of the NACSA's focus areas is cross stitch conservation.  This encompases working to educate our members and the general public on the appropriate steps to take when laundering and preserving our works.  In addition to this, we also eventually want to start collecting cross stitch works from across the ages.  Lastly we want to advocate for the creation of an on-line gallery of our member's works to preserve the provenance and beauty of the work.

This post is meant to generate thought from anyone reading this and also it is here to gather feedback on how important the issue of cross stitch conservation is to you.  If you would be kind enough to comment on this post, we promise the thoughts won't go ignored.  Thank you in advance for considering a comment!
